PROJECT MANAGEMENT
■ Define project scope and parameters.
■ Identify key team members, outline services, set project milestones, determine critical decision dates to prepare and monitor the project schedule.
■ Meet with client and project team to establish workflow, line of communication, individual tasks and responsibilities.
■ Work with designer/architect and client to assess project-programming requirements.
■ Overall account/project responsibilities to include attendance at weekly project/construction meetings
as needed.
■ Coordination of internal team meetings.
■ Prepare budget estimate for furniture. Submit for review with two revisions included.
■ Develop furniture micro-schedule.
■ Conduct user orientation sessions for CRI specified product.
DESIGN SERVICES
■ Meet with client and/or design firm to establish overall project scope and responsibilities.
■ Provide product solutions and value engineering as required.
■ Develop block plan and typicals for client review based on programming needs. Submit for review with two minor revisions included.
■ Develop a furniture plan to show placement of all new and/or reused furniture. Submit for review with two minor revisions included.
■ Provide all necessary furniture specifications required for order entry.
■ Develop final installation drawings.
■ Maintain AutoCAD library for CRI projects.
ESTIMATING
■ Review of project scope and product to insure specifications are complete and manufacturer issues are resolved prior to order entry.
■ Capture all product and labor costs related to the project.
■ Generate proposal, terms and conditions, contract, and purchase orders.
■ Monitor collection of terms and any deposit requirements prior to order placement.
PROJECT COORDINATION
■ Submit orders to manufacturer and verify accuracy of acknowledgements against purchase order.
■ Provide furniture order status reports on a weekly basis.
■ Monitor ship dates and estimated time of arrival, confirming order ships on time.
■ Track and expedite orders with manufacturers, including items shipped direct to site.
■ Coordinate delivery and installation schedule upon receipt of product.
■ Verify valid certificate of insurance is on file with the building(s) and elevator reservations, as necessary.
■ Manage punch list resolution.
■ Process freight claims for product shipped to dealer’s warehouse.
■ Respond to warranty issues and concealed damaged product.
■ Obtain client Proof of Delivery.
■ Responsible for overall customer service.
FIELD PROJECT MANAGEMENT
■ Plan check order to installation plan for accuracy.
■ Field measure to verify critical dimensions.
■ Field measure assist in location for electrical/data cores.
■ Coordinate with general contractor and subs throughout project.
■ Receive direct shipments, check in product.
■ Supervise installation on site.
■ Complete post-installation walk through and punch list
