Founded in 2005, VideoEgg provides video editing, posting, serving and sharing services for online communities.  Rapid business growth prompted a relocation from the company’s startup space to occupy two floors at 180 Townsend.  The company’s goal was to attract and retain the best creative talent in a competitive market, and provide them with a working environment in which they could flourish.

ASD’s Amy Tamburro was engaged to create a space more conducive to creative work, and CRI was chosen to help with VideoEgg’s workstation needs within this environment.  ASD and CRI worked together to optimize VideoEgg’s new space without the constraints of traditional cubicle solutions.

CRI selected Herman Miller’s My Studio Environment – an innovative approach to the workspace. My Studio’s unique trademark design of a lower center spine, higher aisle walls, and the use of sliding shutters, doors, and translucent materials, promotes a collaborative environment while maintaining a sense of privacy.  Herman Miller’s modern design and color palette enhanced the functional and aesthetic quality of the space and provided a pleasing contrast to the structure’s exposed wood beam ceilings and columns.
