Covington & Burling is a leading international law firm representing such high-profile companies as IBM, NASCAR, Canon, Merck and Verizon. With over 520 lawyers and many awards and honors to their credit, the firm’s practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, finance and taxation, antitrust and regulatory law, and virtually all types of litigation.
In relocating their San Francisco office space from 601 California to 1 Front Street, Covington & Burling was seeking a full-service furniture dealer with expertise in high-end projects along with flexibility to explore various scenarios. With this in mind, the client expected that the finishes and durable elegance of the new space would match or exceed that of the former space.
Working closely with Gensler and Covington & Burling, CRI recommended refurbishing the high-end casegoods, and reupholstering the lounge furniture. This allowed for an upgrade to ergonomic Aeron seating throughout the space, as well as the design and implementation of a high use mailroom, storeroom and central library. A compelling example of the partnership between CRI and Covington & Burling is the firm’s new 48-person multi-purpose room, which also serves as a large conference facility. |
